Asante Kotoko forward, Kwame Opoku, has assured fans that his best is yet to come as the team gears up for the second round of the 2024/25 season.
The striker recently returned to his former club on a two-and-a-half-year deal following stints in Algeria and Morocco.
In the latter part of the first round, Opoku displayed his goal-scoring prowess, netting four goals in three games to propel the Porcupines to third place on the league table.
Speaking to Asempa FM, the former USM Alger striker expressed confidence in his ability to deliver even more.
"There’s more to come from me. This is just the beginning," he said.
"I’ve scored five goals in four games so far, and as the season progresses, I’ll reach my peak fitness level."
Kotoko concluded the first round of the season in third place on the league table with 31 points.
The Porcupine Warriors will aim to maintain their strong form when they host Karela United, a team battling relegation, in their matchday 18 fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium.
