The New Patriotic Party (NPP) members have been urged not to let the recent electoral defeat demoralise them but to continue to work harder to help rebuild the party.
They should reflect, refocus and rebuild to make the party stronger.
Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, former NPP Chairman for Afigya Kwabre South constituency, who made the call, said it was important for the party members to trust that God was at work and weaving their aspirations into His plans.
“As one political party, we must trust that God is at work, weaving our aspirations into his plans; a future we may not yet see but filled with grace, hope and purpose”, he told the party members in an interview with the Ghana News Agency.
Odeneho Kwaku Appiah pointed out that NPP was a strong formidable party, which was capable of coming out from the defeat, rebuilding itself and standing up stronger to face new challenges ahead.
He said though the defeat was unexpected, it reflected the plans God might have for the party and urged members not to despair but use the Christmas festivities to reflect on their actions, refocus and identify how they could work together to rebuild the party to become stronger, going into the 2028 general elections.
