The presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, Thursday evening spoke on the nation's healthcare system.
The live interaction was in reaction to President Nana Akufo-Addo's comment on Sunday that, the country's health infrastructure system needed a face-lift, as governments over the years have not paid enough attention to the sector.
Mr Mahama, whose administration built some facilities which have been reportedly neglected by the current administration, addressed health delivery and health infrastructure across the country.
President Akufo-Addo had said within the next one year, his government will build a total of 94 health facilities across the country.
He said the Covid-19 pandemic has exposed the country's healthcare system.
The President has come under intense criticisms with most critics saying government should ensure that neglected projects are completed to save the taxpayer.
