President John Dramani Mahama will on Friday, October 17, 2025, host the Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickon Amiss Thomas Mitchell, for bilateral talks at the presidency in Accra.
Prime Minister Mitchell is expected to arrive in Ghana on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., for a two-day official visit. He will be accompanied by Grenada’s Chief of Staff, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development, and other senior government officials.
The visit is aimed at strengthening diplomatic and economic relations between Ghana and Grenada.
Shortly after his arrival, the Grenadian delegation will participate in the first Ghana–Grenada Political Consultation Meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
On Friday morning, President Mahama will formally welcome Prime Minister Mitchell to the presidency for bilateral discussions focused on deepening ties between the two nations. The President will also host the visiting leader to a State Luncheon in his honour.
As part of his visit, Prime Minister Mitchell is scheduled to tour the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, a key symbol of Ghana’s independence and Pan-African heritage, before departing the country later on Friday.
