The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced the filing fee requirements for its upcoming Ayawaso East parliamentary primary in the Greater Accra Region, urging all aspirants to strictly comply with the stated arrangements.
In a statement dated January 20, 2026, the party announced that the filing fee for the primary has been fixed at GH₵40,000.
The NDC, however, said female aspirants and persons living with disabilities (PLWDs) will enjoy a 50 per cent reduction, bringing their filing fee to GH₵20,000.
According to the party, aspirants will only be granted access to the official delegates’ list after the payment of the approved filing fee has been verified.
“The official delegates’ list will be made available to aspirants only after confirmation of payment of the approved filing fees into the party’s official account,” the statement said.
The party stressed that all filing fees must be paid directly into its official bank account, making it clear that no alternative payment methods will be accepted.
“No cheques or bankers’ drafts shall be accepted,” the statement noted, adding that all payments should be made into the NDC’s official account at UMB, Adabraka Branch.
The NDC further urged aspirants and other stakeholders to adhere strictly to the timelines provided in the attached timetable, warning that failure to comply with the filing fee requirements could affect participation in the primary.
