Patrons at the Luv Fm Habitat Fair in Kumasi are calling on organizers to host the event at least twice a year.
Day two of the event saw hundreds of prospective home and land owners troop to the Kumasi City Mall to seek solutions to their housing and building needs.
Flanked by his children, Evans Danso was impressed to find solutions to his housing security challenge.

Visiting the Fair for the third time, he was astounded to see newer versions of security equipment displayed at the Fair.

He wishes the event was organized at least three times in a year.

“Even though it’s too early to grade it, on a scale of ten I will give you eight and a half. The event always opens us up. It reveals alternatives to our security problems. The security I thought was the best, there is a new version of that. Everybody wants to showcase the newest version of everything. I can see there are new entrants with security solutions for patrons,” he said.

Christopher, a patron, could not hide his excitement after visiting and striking deals with a number of exhibitors for all his housing needs.

Ranging from security doors to painting materials and water tanks, he made numerous purchases to furnish his home.

He entreated prospective homeowners to pass through to have solutions to all their housing needs.

“If I hadn’t come here, I wouldn’t have known there are quite affordable housing equipment. There are things that we can do to have a safe place to lay our heads. When I came here it opened my eyes. So I crave the indulgence of all to come here. Luv FM/Joy FM should organize this twice a year,” he said.

The 13th edition of the habitat fair is on the theme; “Homeownership: where you live matters.”
Patrons have an array of products and services to choose from for the completion of their homes.

Companies in the construction and artisanal industry are offering attractive discounts on their products and services including DBS company’s “B) so free promo”.
Potential homeowners can also access mortgage financing options from the headline sponsor, Republic Bank, and other real estate companies to enable their dreams of owning homes to come true.

Industry players, including financial and technical experts, have been put together to offer help to prospective home owners and others with housing needs.
The Habitat Fair will span for three days – 30th September 2022 to 2nd October 2022 - at the Kumasi City Mall.
