The Chief Executive Officer of Thrift Town Clothing, Poxieble, who also represents Skinny men on Joy Prime’s Bald, Muscled, Potbellied and Skinny (BMPS) show has defended married men who have ‘side chicks’.
According to him, most wives deny their husbands pleasure at the times they need it most, leaving them to fall back on side chicks.
For Poxieble, being in a side relationship has not defeated the purpose of marriage but played a crucial role for the married couple.
“They are doing plenty of things that wives don’t do. For example, let’s say you’re married and you go home and propose to your wife to go on a ‘naughty drive’ with you. She will start telling you ‘I’m tired and you know and kids’, but your side chick? The moment you mention it she’s ready for you to pick her up fast! Quick and fast.”
When he was faced with the fact that his wife has more responsibilities than the side chicks and may have had a long day as well taking care of the kids and the house, he countered that side chicks have tedious days too by helping big men distress.
He added that some men stay out of the house for long periods of time because of possible ‘fire’ at home but side chicks help them clear their minds.
“You can pick five random married men, bring them out here, and ask them the reason why they go home late. A man can finish work at 6 p.m and get home at midnight. He just dey the office dey have a video with his girlfriend, because if he goes home maybe there’s fire on the mountain but the side chick will cool his temper before he even gets home. Side chicks are precious.”
He thinks it’s not feasible to abolish side chicks in society.
