Ghana football is set for a major boost with the inaugural Thomas Partey Tournament set to take place from December 2-5 at the Tuba Astroturf in Accra.
The event which is organised by Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey in partnership with JoySports, aims to nurture young talent and foster community development.
Youth teams from across the country will compete, showcasing their skills in front of eight scouts from prominent European clubs.
For aspiring players, the tournament offers a rare opportunity to catch the attention of top-tier scouts and take the first steps towards a professional career in football.
The competition is more than just a sporting event. Backed by the Thomas Partey Foundation and JJ SPORTS, it highlights values such as teamwork and community spirit while creating opportunities for local youth.
This grassroots initiative is expected to become a key feature in Ghana’s football calendar, providing a platform to inspire and develop the next generation of stars.
