Headmaster of St. Augustine's College, Rev. Fr. Dr. Patrick Appiah, believes his athletes can overcome their rivals, Mfanstipim School, in the Central Regional Athletics Championship, Super Zonals.
Mfanstipim emerged as winners of the Inter-Colleges Zone 3 championships with a 28-point difference, while St. Augustine's College finished second.
The upcoming two-day event, which starts on Thursday, will see several participating schools compete for top honours at the Cape Coast Stadium.
"We expect the best from St. Augustine's College," Dr. Appiah said.
"We have great sprint in the long distance. St. Augustine's College has a history, a history of persevering, perseverance indeed conquers all."
