Traditional rulers in Keta, in the Volta Region, have paid glowing tribute to the Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for his high moral principles as a leader.
The Chiefs, welcoming Bawumia to the Keta Constituency on Thursday, as part of his tour of the Volta Region, praised Dr. Bawumia for upholding positive values, which they noted, are in line with their custom.
"We know the values that you espouse and that you strongly uphold values of integrity, honesty and hard work," said the Dufia of Kedzi, Togbui Acolatse V, who spoke on behalf of the Chiefs present.
"These are our values here in Anlo. These are some of the values we also espouse and hold dear to our chest. So we share a common value."
While praying for God's protection and success for Dr. Bawumia so that "he can continue the good works he has started," the Chiefs told the Vice President that his good morals will catapult him to the top.
"We know this moral authority that you stand for will propel you exponentially to a formal authority and, in shaa Allah, as you always say, you shall."
The Chiefs also commended Dr. Bawumia for his good policies for the country, adding that they're looking forward to the policies impacting the lives of Ghanaians.
