Incumbent NDC MP for the Korley-Klottey constituency in the Greater Accra Region has won the parliamentary seat for a second term.
According to the Electoral Commission’s certified results, the first daughter of former President, Jerry Rawlings polled 39,343 leading her contenders by 8,189.
The NPP parliamentary candidate polled 31,154 while the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) polled 190.
In total, the valid ballots collated were 70,687 and there were 71,184 votes cast according to the Electoral Commission.
Following an endorsement by her father, Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings won NDC's November 2015 primaries.
She first contested for the Korley-Kottey parliamentary seat and won in the 2016 elections.
