Speaking to reporters in the Upper West Region after a regional sensitisation program, Haruna Iddrisu outlined the NDC's strategic approach for the elections.
He emphasised the party's determination to secure victories in all constituencies across the region.
Haruna Iddrisu highlighted the promising prospects in constituencies like Lambussie-Karni and expressed efforts to strengthen the NDC's presence in areas such as Nandom and the Sissala East district.
Mr Iddrisu underlined the importance of a focused campaign strategy aimed at securing wins across the region.
The former Labour Minister stressed the significance of the upcoming elections, emphasizing the NDC's commitment to engaging with voters and addressing their concerns.
He expressed optimism in the party's ability to mobilise support and secure victory in all 11 parliamentary seats in the Upper West Region.
“We are determined to capture all the 11 seats in the Upper West Region. At least, from my briefing and the information available to me, Lambussie is already in the basket.
"We can add that on. And we are narrowing in on a strategy to get Nandom and we are determined to win all the 11 seats and then also in the Sissala area."
“I have been playing some quiet diplomatic role reconciling the previous Sissala candidate with the NDC candidate and they are working together now."
At present, out of the 11 parliamentary seats in the Upper West Region, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) holds eight, while the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has three.
