Fans across the world have expressed their dissatisfaction after Jordan Ayew's brilliant solo goal against West Ham was snubbed for the Premier League goal of the season.

Harvey Barnes, Moussa Djenepo, Matty Longstaff, Kevin De Bruyne, Son Heung-min, Alireza Jahanbakhsh, Matej Vydra and Bruno Fernandes were nominated for the award.

Earlier, Ayew's chip against West Ham won Amazon Prime’s Premier League goal of the season.

Jordan Ayew's goal has been sidelined not because it wasn't great or the Premier League didn't acknowledge him.

But because they are still in shock to have seen such a brilliant goal coming in from such a player who has been highly underrated.
