Hundreds of underprivileged Muslim in Kumasi have received kilos of beef that may ordinarily be inaccessible, thanks to a generous donation from a philanthropist.
Again, a donation of a GHC1000 to be shared by the beneficiaries also enabled the families to celebrate the occasion in accordance with traditional Eid festivities.
All of the 500 beneficiaries selected for the donation were among people who could not afford to pay for a ram or cow in honor of the celebration.
In all, about 15 bulls were slaughtered, butchered and distributed to the families.
Each beneficiary received 10 kilos of meat.
