The Ghana Police Service says it has arrested seven people for firing indiscriminately in the Bono Region.
The arrest took place on Thursday, November 30, 2023.
The suspects are said to have fired shots during the installation of a Paramount Chief at Sampa.
The statement from the police indicated that the shooting led to the death of one while seven people sustained gunshot wounds.
Two single-barrel guns have been retrieved, they added.
All the suspects are in custody assisting the investigation.
