TV personality, Nana Aba Anamoah, says it was not difficult to get speakers for her upcoming program.
In an interview with Doreen Avio, she said because of the motive of the project which is to reach many young women and her personality, it was easy to get people on board.
“It was so easy, you wouldn’t believe it. I just had to send them a DM. First of all, I called Shirley and told her this is what I am doing and I want her to be there as one of my speakers.”
She responded: “Say no more,” confirming that she was going to be there.
The TV personality added that other speakers responded to her invite within 5 minutes.
Nana Aba urged individuals to be more careful on social media especially when dealing with personalities.
“You are on social media and your DM is coming from a verified account, and you check the profile and bio, it pushes you to respond quicker.
"So it was so easy and these women are professionals with the way they go about things,” she noted.
She also added that she makes time to respond to people’s messages whenever she sees them.
According to her, though she might not be able to reply them all, she tries her best to respond to every one’s message.
“I respond to DMs. I don’t live on social media so when I go there, I make sure I dedicate about an hour there so I respond to as many messages as possible though it’s not all. In view of that, I wasn’t surprised when they responded,” she said.
