Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has credited the team's recent performance to the meeting with Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, earlier this month.
The playing body and the technical staff met Otumfuo earlier this month to address key concerns after a poor run of form.
The Porcupine Warriors had been on a seven-game winless run, losing six and drawing one, prior to their meeting with the Asantehene.
However, since the meeting, they have not lost any of their last two games, beating Ghana Premier League leaders, Samartex, before drawing with Medeama SC in Tarkwa.
Ogum says the recent performances is due to the fruitful visit to Manhyia.
“No one in this world will meet the King and the King will talk to him and he will disobey the King, so I think it is good we went to Manhyia to listen to some pieces of advice from the King, from the owner, from the landlord so I think it is good and I think it is doing the trick for," he said.
"We want to thank the King for his timely intervention, we are grateful to him and to the supporters and Asanteman and if this support continues, I think the face of the team will change," he added.
Kotoko, currently in 11th place, will be hoping for a strong finish to the season with a fixture against Legon Cities next in line.
