The five Paramount Chiefs of the Nadowli/Kaleo District in the Upper West Region have publicly endorsed Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's leadership and vision for Ghana.
In a speech delivered on their behalf, the Chiefs of Nadowli, Takpo, Charipkong, Kaleo, and Sankana accentuated the district’s recent developments, including upgraded feeder roads, constructed bridges, and gravelled roads.
These improvements they say, have enhanced accessibility and economic activities.
Expressing gratitude for these developments, the Chiefs pledged to vote "massively" for the NPP Presidential Candidate to continue the current government's good works.

This declaration was made during Dr Bawumia’s constituency-focused campaign tour and engagements with the traditional authorities of the Nadowli/Kaleo District.
"Mr Vice President, we pledge the support of the Chiefs and people of Nadowli Kaleo Constituency to vote massively for you to become the President of Ghana. We believe in your leadership and vision for our nation,' they stated. 'Thank you for addressing our concerns. We wish you a successful campaign and look forward to your presidency” they stated.

Dr Bawumia thanked the Chiefs for their support and reiterated his promise to facilitate the review of Section 63 of the Constitution to grant adjudicatory powers to traditional authorities, enabling dispute resolution in palaces instead of the courts.
He reaffirmed the payment of a Living Wage to Paramount and Divisional Chiefs and their Queens under his presidency.
