Ghana’s Consul-General to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Kamal-Deen Abdulai, has urged voters in the Nanton Constituency of the Northern Region to vote massively for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) come December 7 to break the eight.
Justifying his call, he indicated that the NPP is the only political party that transforms the lives of Ghanaians when they are in power.
Addressing a gathering during a mini rally at Nanton Kurgu in the Nanton constituency, he noted that the NPP has implemented policies that have greatly impacted the lives of Ghanaians such as the Free SHS, subsidised fertilisers for farmers, National Health Insurance, among other laudable initiatives.
The Consul General also called on the constituency executives to ensure that they continue with the door-to-door campaign activities as the election day is approaching to ensure that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the Nanton MP, Alhaji Mohammed Hardi Tufeiru win massively in the constituency.
“Elections is not about the numbers at your rally and so I would appeal to the constituency executives to ensure that we continue with the door-to-door campaign in the constituency and I can assure you if we do this Inshallah we will win the Nanton seat massively.”
He urged the constituency executives who have issues with each other to put their differences aside and work together to break the 8 and retain the party in power.
Ambassador Kamal-Deen appealed to the people of Nanton Kurgu to vote massively for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Alhaji Mohammed Hardi Tufeiru, Member of Parliament for Nanton constituency come December 7 general elections for both to foster the needed development for the area to consolidate the gains made since 2017.
