The former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Peter Mac Manu, has described a possible loss in the 2024 general elections as an opportunity for introspection rather than despair.
Speaking candidly, Mac Manu stopped short of formally conceding defeat to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
However, he stressed the importance of the NPP accepting the electoral outcome with grace and learning valuable lessons from the process.
“This should not be viewed as the end of the road for our party. It is a moment to evaluate our actions, identify our weaknesses, and take meaningful steps to reconnect with the people of Ghana,” he stated.
Mac Manu urged the NPP to focus on rebuilding its image and regaining public trust, expressing hope that the party could emerge stronger in the future.
“This is a chance for growth. Let us take this time to reflect and strategise for a better comeback,” he added.
