The Ghana Police Service has arrested one more suspect in connection with the violent disturbances that erupted during the Ghana Premier League match between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko FC on February 2, 2025, at Nsoatre in the Bono Region.
The newly arrested suspect, Elizabeth Akosua Ntiriwaa, is currently in police custody and assisting with ongoing investigations.
This latest development brings the total number of suspects arrested to six, as authorities intensify efforts to apprehend all individuals involved in the violence.

The Police Service has assured the public that an intelligence-led operation is still underway to identify and arrest the remaining suspects responsible for the disturbances.
The incident, which resulted in the death of one person, led to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) suspending all Premier League matches as investigations continue.
Authorities have reiterated their commitment to ensuring justice is served while urging anyone with information regarding the incident to assist law enforcement.
