Minister-Designate for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovation, Mohammed Adams Sukparu, has pledged his unwavering commitment to propelling Ghana’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) agenda forward.
The Sissala West MP said this during his appearance before Parliament’s Appointments Committee on Friday, July 25.
Addressing the panel, Mr. Sukparu endorsed the country’s current AI strategy and expressed his intention to enhance it, aiming to position Ghana at the forefront of AI innovation on the African continent.
He explaiened that “I’m aware that there’s a strategy for Artificial Intelligence, and I will assist my minister for us to build upon the already existing strategy."
"So that we will enhance it to make it fit for purpose, so that we can make Ghana an Artificial Intelligence hub for Africa," he added.
