The Agona Swedru District Police Command arrested two suspects on Tuesday after they were found in possession of 154 compressed slabs of dried leaves suspected to be narcotics.
The suspects, Godfred Acquah, 28, and Awudu Usman, 34, were arrested during a police operation at Agona Asafo and Agona Kwesitsukwaa road.

According to the police, a further search conducted at Awudu Usman's residence in Agona Swedru led to the discovery of 55 compressed slabs of dried leaves suspected to be narcotics.
During the police operation, the suspects offered a bribe of GH¢100,000, which was rejected.
They were then arrested and will be put before court.
