The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has responded to a domestic fire outbreak at Kasoa Brigade, opposite DY Academy.
The Weija Fire Station received the distress call through the Fire Master Control (FMC) at 3:46 p.m. on Monday, August 10, prompting the immediate dispatch of a firefighting crew led by ADOII Felix Mensah Afedzo.
The crew arrived at the scene at 4:05 p.m. and found a recording studio engulfed in flames.
Firefighters managed to bring the fire under control at 4:20 p.m., preventing it from spreading to adjoining buildings and properties. The fire was completely extinguished at 4:35 p.m.
According to the GNFS, two bedrooms and their contents were salvaged. However, the recording studio and all its contents were completely destroyed by the fire.
No casualties were recorded in the incident.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
