Former Communications Director at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Ibrahim Sannie Daara, has questioned the quality of players in the current Black Stars set up.
According to him, the team is made up of 'average' players except for a few who have quality in their possession.
Sannie Daara believes that has contributed to the downhill state of the senior national team who will also miss out on the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after back-to-back group stage exits.
"Apart [Mohammed] Kudus, Jordan Ayew and [Thomas] Partey, a lot of the Black Stars players are average," he said on Sporty FM.
Head coach Otto Addo will want to change that narrative as the team's recent performances has also raised questions about his potential to lead the team.
The Black Stars are in town in March when they take on Chad and Madagascar in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
