Agona East parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Queenstar Pokuah Sawyerr has said the people of Agona Nsaba have a special place in the heart of Presidential candidate, John Mahama, and the NDC.
This was during a courtesy call on the Traditional Council of Agona Nsaba in the Central Region by former President John Mahama and officials of the NDC.
The party's parliamentary candidate for the constituency stated that NDC would forever cherish the love given by the people to the party.
"Whenever the NDC plans to visit Agona East, the thought of the people never fails to cross the mind of the executives.
"It is a sign that the people of Agona Nsaba are at the heart of Mr John Mahama, myself and the NDC", she stated.
Mrs Queenstar Pokuah Sawyerr admonished party lovers to be staunch supporters and not allow their love for the party waver or be swayed by other political parties as the country approaches the December polls.
"I implore you all, do not let the unfailing love you have for former President Mahama and the NDC be swayed by any person or party.
"We pray for good health for all officials and lovers of the NDC as we approach the 2020 general elections," she added.
The NDC presidential candidate, Mr John Dramani Mahama officially introduced the party's parliamentary candidate for the Agona East constituency to the Omanhene, Osaberima Boapong Afriyie II and traditional council of Agona Nsaba.
"After many discussions, the NDC has decided to present Mrs Queenstar Pokuah Sawyerr as the parliamentary candidate for Agona East. I present the heart of the people to you.
"I urge each and everyone to cast their votes for the NDC and Queenstar Pokua Sawyerr come December 7," he stated.
