Former Hearts of Oak striker, Kofi Kordzi, is confident the club will not go on relegation despite their consistent relegation battles in the last two seasons.
The Phobians are just one point away from the drop zone ahead of their final game of the season, with Aboubakar Ouattara’s team heading to Bechem on Sunday.
Hearts of Oak are in the relegation battle alongside city rivals Great Olympics, Heart of Lions and Karela United.
Speaking to Joy Sports after the goalless draw against Olympics, Kordzi expressed doubt that the club will go on relegation.
“Right now I'm not in the team but what I'll say is I'm not sure Hearts will go to relegation. That one I'm not sure.
“No, I haven't seen that Hearts of Oak is going on relegation. I haven't seen it or I haven't heard of it.
“But this is the first time me experiencing this so what I'll say is I can't say much about this but the relegation won’t happen. It won’t happen.”
