The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of one suspect in connection with attacks on Nsoatreman head coach Maxwell Konadu.
The former Ghana assistant coach came under attack following his side's 0-0 Ghana Premier League draw against Bofoakwa Tano at the Sunyani Coronation Park.
The two teams went head-to-head on Sunday, November 19, on matchday 11 of the top flight but no goals were recorded in the game while fans of Bofoakwa made their way onto the turf at the end of the game.
They attacked Konadu while the match officials were also threatening but it was the latter who suffered heavily as he was eventually hospitalised.
The Ghana Police began a search for suspects less than 24 hours after the unfortunate incident before confirming the arrest of one suspect in relation to the case.
The Ghana Police Service said it has arrested suspect Musah Seidu in connection with the attack on Nsoatreman coach Maxwell Konadu.
