Nsoatreman FC were held to a 1-1 draw by Aduana Stars on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Nana Nkronmansah Park.
Yaw Preko shuffled his side, with Meider Adu Kwabena and three others making their way into the lineup for the Bono derby.
The “Efiri tete Amananso” lads did not waste much time in setting the tone of the Bono derby high.
Eric Osei Bonsu’s early attempt to score from a dangerous free-kick in the 5th minute met the human wall, denying him the opportunity.
Tricky winger Stephen Diyuo took a rebound; however, his effort failed to yield any results.
Despite Nsoatreman dominating possession and creating a large portion of chances, Aduana FC proved resilient.
Anokye Morrison gave Nsoatreman the lead in the 21st minute, bringing the score to 1-0 against Aduana FC.
The visitors responded with a well-timed notch from Abdel Bamba Latif in the 39th minute, drawing both sides level at 1-1 before half-time.
After the break, Yaw Preko introduced Benjamin Tsivanyo, whose one-two interplay with Obilitey ended in a shot at goal, but the ball went slightly over the bar.
Both teams maintained the score at 1-1 in a tightly contested second half.
Nsoatreman currently sit in 12th position on the league table, level on 12 points with Aduana FC, who are in 10th place.
