Accra Hearts of Oak has appointed David Ocloo as assistant coach at the club.
The former Asante Kotoko assistant trainer has been appointed by the Phobians in the same capacity even though the club has yet to hire a coach following the sacking of Samuel Boadu last week.
He will act as head coach of the club, and his immediate task will be to prepare the team for their CAF Confederation Cup qualifying match against Real Bamako of Mali this weekend.
The club confirmed on Sunday, 2 October 2022 that Ocloo's ''forms part of the club's restructuring exercise of the technical team."
The 38-year-old's last job was assisting Prosper Nartey Ogum at Kotoko, a job he left along with his boss, two months ago.
He has previous coached the likes of Marantha of Togo, Sahel Sporting Club in Niger, Wa All Stars and Liberty Professionals.
