Ghana head coach Otto Addo says the Black Stars have their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations destiny in their own hands after three games played.
While the Black Stars were held to a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium on matchday three of the qualifiers, Angola also beat Niger at home to maintain their perfect start to the qualifying series.
The results in the last round of games mean Addo's side still stands a chance of making it to Morocco next year. However, they will need to get the needed results.
Speaking ahead of the reverse fixture against Sudan in Libya on Tuesday, October 15, the gaffer said, " I think it was good that Angola won. If Niger had won, they would have passed us and that would have been bad."
"Now the situation is still in our hands and we need to win this very match tomorrow.
"Once we are second I think we all know and we saw that we can beat all of those teams we played against.
"We are looking for tomorrow's win and we will be back on track."
A win for Ghana will take them above Sudan ahead of the final two games of the qualifying series in November while anything but a win will complicate the Black Stars' chances if being in Morocco.
