Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew says he would like to play in the Ghana Premier League at some point in his career.
Jordan has had no experience in Ghana's club football since he started his professional career, spending the majority of his career in France and England.
The 31-year-old recently achieved a milestone in his career, scoring a 100th career goal in the just-ended Premier League season.
According to the player, the idea of playing in Ghana's top flight is one that delights him and wouldn't hesitate to do so.
“The Ghana Premier League is something that I have in mind. One day, I could play for a team in Accra because I base in Accra,” he told GTV Sports Plus.
The forward recently signed a contract extension at Selhurst Park and will continue with Crystal Palace for the 2023/24 season.
A move to the Premier League at some point will see him follow in the footsteps of players such as Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Muntari and Emmanuel Agyemang Badu who have taken the same route recently.
