The latest edition of Joy Prime’s women-focused talk show, Talk Your Shh, explored sexual fantasies and their impact on relationships and marriages.
Panelist Michelle shared her views, noting that many older married people who cheat on their partners often do so because they failed to explore their sexual desires when they were younger.
“Older people in marriage that cheat on their partner is because they didn’t explore when they were single and younger, so now they find someone to explore that fantasy with,” she said.
Michelle encouraged couples to communicate openly about their fantasies with their partners. She advised that one could introduce such ideas during intimacy or discuss them afterwards, stressing that mutual understanding is key to keeping relationships exciting.
She observed that while women tend to be open to exploring sexual activities within the first two years of marriage, many lose that adventurous side as the years progress.
“Your relationship or marriage from the first two years is sweeter but after 10 years some women become too comfortable with their husbands when it comes to issues involving sex,” she said, adding that some even create timetables for intimacy, which could push men to seek satisfaction elsewhere.
Michelle further noted that household responsibilities often leave women too exhausted to engage in sex, a situation that sometimes drives men to pursue younger partners with fewer commitments.
She also cautioned against extreme sexual practices, describing sex during menstruation as spiritually dangerous.
“Already when you have sex with a man it is said that you would have spiritual implications, and now having sex with her during her period where the blood is seen as dirty blood,” she explained, citing spiritualists who believe women lose something valuable when engaging in such acts.
Michelle concluded by warning that while sexual fantasies can strengthen relationships, people should be cautious of those with potential health or spiritual risks.
Talk Your Shh airs every Saturday at 9 pm on Joy Prime and features raw, unfiltered conversations on issues affecting women.
