Berekum Chelsea have rescinded their decision to withdraw from the NC Special Cup and honoured their outstanding match against Medeama.
The Blues had informed Joy Sports about their decision to withdraw from the competition following a temporary ban on their home ground, Berekum Golden City Park.
The ban placed on them was as a result of the violence that ensued before their goalless draw against Asante Kotoko last Sunday.
They hosted Medeama on Wednesday at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
Chelsea took the lead through Solomon Obitey but Tahidu Awudu and Kalibou Toussanit produced two goals for Medeama to win 2-1.
The win takes Medeamae to the top of Premier A table while Chelsea remain bottom.
