The Director of International Rations of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alex Segbefia, has applauded the South Africa Chapter for their monumental contributions, outperforming their peers across the world.
According to Mr Segbefia, he engages with over 40 countries however, “South Africa stands tall.”
He made these remarks when the SA NDC Women's Wing donated assorted food items to the Eye of the Lord Orphanage on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Nsawam Adoagyiri Constituency of the Eastern Region
The NDC stalwart intimated that the idea of supporting an orphanage run by a visually impaired person is very remarkable.
“We're in an orphanage, headed by someone who is visually impaired, ironic... That people who don't have parents are being looked after by somebody who is visually impaired and people in South Africa decided that they would come to honour the orphanage. It's a true spirit of what Ghanaians are", he stated and added, "It's a true reflection of what God can do.”
According to him, it's very instructive that the name of the orphanage is the "Eye of the Lord. For someone who doesn't see and has decided to let children who don't have parents see for him. I was actually quite touched that this was the choice South Africa decided to come and make a donation to", he solemnly stated.
Mr. Alex Segbefia took the opportunity to thank the NDC South African Chapter especially the Women's Wing in particular for the honour done the orphanage.
“What you've done is in order and very commendable", he said.
