Ghanaian sprinters, benjamin Azamati and Joseph Paul Amoah are set to compete in the 100m heats on day one of the 2022 World Athletics championships in Oregon, Eugene.
The national 100m record holder, Azamati, says his race in Oslo and Paris was a good preparation ahead of the World Championships.
Joe Amoah adds that Team Ghana is looking to improve their performance from the Tokyo Olympic Games and go further in Oregon, when the Championship begin.
The 100m Heats are scheduled to begin on Friday at 18.50 Oregon time (1.50am Ghana time on Saturday, July 16).
