The Vice President, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, paid the Black Stars team a visit ahead of their 2026 World Cup Qualifier against Central African Republic (CAR).
Ghana will face CAR on matchday four of the qualifying series at the Baba Yara Stadium on Monday, June 10 looking to build on their recent win.
Otto Addo's side secured all three points when they travelled to Bamako to play Mali in their last game, rising to third in the standings in Group I.
A win for Ghana will see them claim nine points from their opening four games having lost to Comoros last year.
Ahead of the game, Bawumia visited the team's hotel in Kumasi to encourage them.
Joy Sports understands he made a donation of 500,000 GHS to the team as motivation for the home game.
The Sports Minister, Mustapha Ussif, was also present at the hotel together with the Vice President while GFA President Kurt Okraku was also present.
