The Chief of Sefwi Bonzain, who is also the Krontihene of Sefwi Wiawso Traditional Council, Nana Ofori Ahenkan II has told Vice President, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia that Ghanaians will reward him for the development he has brought to them.
He said this at his palace when the NPP flagbearer called on him as part of his tour of the Western North Region.
“I want to use this opportunity to say a big thank you to Dr Bawumia for coming to Bonzain. We never thought that this day would happen, but he has made it happen. We thank the NPP government for helping us with the road construction for both Juaboso and Bonzain town roads. Thank you very much.
“Our former chief wanted to see our road constructed, but unfortunately, he never did. But during my time, the NPP government has started constructing our roads – roads that never saw construction in their lifetime. I promise you that your good works will never go unnoticed; you will be rewarded,” he stated.

Nana Ofori Ahenkan II added that the good policies of Dr Bawumia are campaigning for him.
“Your Excellency, now, I am not even the one to campaign for you; your policies and works are already doing the campaign for you. Our Paramount Chief told you yesterday, and I want to repeat; when you sleep, sleep, because we will vote massively for you in the elections,” he intimated.
He charged his people to remember to vote for both Dr Bawumia and the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Juabosos Constituency, Dr Alex Ampaabeng for him to help the next Bawumia government to implement their vision for the country.
“I always say the rewards for politicians are here on earth. So looking at the work Dr Bawumia and the NPP government have done, go out and vote massively for them on December 7 for them to continue their good works.
“But while I’m urging you to vote for Dr Bawumia, don’t forget to also vote for the PC [Parliamentary Candidate]; Dr. Ampaabeng. Because when Dr Bawumia forms the next government, he will need his people to help him execute his vision for Ghana, so let us to vote for Dr Ampaabeng; our own son; our indigene to become the MP for our area so that he can help Dr Bawumia to implement his vision for Ghana.”
