Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Ogum has bemoaned his side's inefficiency in front of goal in their game against Medeama SC over the weekend.
The Porcupine Warriors were held to a 1-1 draw by the Tarkwa-based side at the TnA Stadium on Sunday, January 5.
Kwame Opoku opened the scoring for Kotoko in his second straight start for the club since his return. However, the home side drew level through Kamaradini Mamudu in the 68th minute of the game to deny Kotoko all three points.
The Kumasi-based side fluffed their lines on several occasions to win the game and Ogum was far from happy with their decision in front of goal.
"The scoreline is not a true reflection of the game. We had several chances and should have won the game," said Ogum following the end of the game.
The draw also ended Kotoko's four-game winning streak in the Premier League since losing to Nations FC at home in November.
The result also leaves Kotoko in sixth place after 16 games, two points off league leaders Heart of Lions and Bibiani GoldStars.
