Asante Kotoko head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum is confident that the team's newest addition, Sampson Eduku, will make an immediate impact in the Ghana Premier League.
The forward sealed a return to Ghana after signing a one-and-half-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors on Thursday, January 9.
Speaking on Eduku’s addition to the squad, Ogum said, "We believe he'll make an instant impact," Ogum said, expressing high expectations for the seasoned striker.
Ogum further praised Eduku's impressive track record, saying: "Sampson is a proven goal scorer with great versatility and experience. His ability to find the back of the net and create opportunities for others will add a new dimension to our attack. We're excited to have him join us and believe he'll make an immediate impact."
The 29-year-old striker brings a wealth of experience to the Porcupine Warriors, having previously played for Samartex and Tamale City in the Ghana Premier League.
During the 2022/23 season with Tamale City, Eduku was in form, netting 14 goals and providing 4 assists. His impressive performances earned him a move to Iraqi Premier League side Al Quwa Al Jawiya.
