Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has reiterated his desire to claim more laurels following his side making the semifinal of the MTN FA Cup.
Ogum coached his side to a 2-1 victory over lower tier side True Democracy in the quarterfinal of the domestic cup competition on Sunday, March 30.
Goals from Saaka Dauda and Kwame Opoku sealed the win at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Speaking after the game, Ogum talked about his hunger for success.
“The aim of every coach is to win trophies…the aim of every player is to win trophies so that one day you can be remembered,” he said.
“To me, we have to take it game by game. We are going to play against Berekum Chelsea in the semis. We have to now switch our attention to the league.
“When the time is due, we refocus to that but I want to tell you we are working harder to make sure we get the results.”
Aside making the semis of the FA Cup, Kotoko are also top of the Ghana Premier League table.
