Joy Prime has opened auditions for the fifth season of its children’s cooking reality show, Big Chef Junior, inviting young cooking enthusiasts across Ghana to submit entries ahead of the March 27, 2026 deadline.
The new season is expected to be bigger and more exciting as the platform continues to celebrate young talents who demonstrate creativity, confidence and cultural expression through food.
Children between the ages of eight and twelve with a passion for cooking are encouraged to participate by sending a one-minute video of themselves preparing their favourite meal via WhatsApp to 055 157 5757.
Organisers say the competition is designed not only to discover young culinary talent, but also to help children build confidence, develop life skills and express themselves creatively in the kitchen.
Parents are encouraged to support their children through the audition process, especially those who show interest in cooking and food presentation.
According to organisers, contestants do not need to be perfect to enter, but must show enthusiasm, personality and readiness to learn.
The deadline for submission of entries is March 27, 2026, after which selected participants will be invited to proceed in the competition.
Big Chef Junior has grown into one of Ghana’s most popular children’s reality shows, known for turning simple ingredients into impressive dishes while giving young contestants a platform to shine.
Interested participants are encouraged to submit their videos before the deadline and take the first step towards becoming the next Big Chef Junior star.
