Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has raised concerns about the nature of the pitch at the Baba Yara Stadium ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Ghana faces Angola in the opening game of the qualifying series on Thursday, September 5, hoping for a good start.
There have been several complaints about the quality of the frass at the stadium with CAF officials asking for improvements in the last weeks.
However, the game still looks set to be played in Kumasi.
"It's concerning because the way we want to play we need a good pitch," said Addo during the presser to announce his squad for the game.
"At the moment, there are a lot of discussions about how we can do better so there will be no discussions about the pitch.
"We want our players to be happy to do anything possible to give their best on the pitch. Therefore, we have to do a little bit better to make the pitch as best as possible."
After the game against Angola, Ghana will face Niger in Morocco.
