Asante Kotoko interim coach Karim Zito has urged the club’s fanbase to be "content with only winning" and not demand an expansive style of play.
Zito takes charge of the hot seat, replacing Prosper Narteh Ogum, and is tasked with overturning the club's downturn in form until the end of the season.
Kotoko have dropped to fourth on the Premier League table, six points off the top spot, and are winless in their last four matches.
"Fans must be content with only winning," Zito said at his unveiling.
"All what we are after is to win, to see us back [on top]. It is not about 'fine, fine' football now. It is about who wins. And this is what we are going to struggle to do.
[Operation] 18 points, and I like tackling match after match.
Zito's first encounter in the dugout is a Premier League match at home against Aduana FC at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The veteran trainer recently guided Dreams FC to a historic CAF Confederation Cup semi-final and famously led Ghana’s U-20 team to the 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations title.
