Vision FC head coach Nana Agyemang is hopeful his side's 1-0 win over Nsoatreman FC will boost the morale of his players and fans.
Vision defeated Nsoatreman on matchday 16 of the Ghana Premier League at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema on Sunday, January 5.
The win ended a two-game winless run in the top-flight.
Speaking to the media after the game, Agyemang detailed the importance of the three points.
"I hope this win will lift the spirit of our players and fans. And it will teach so many lessons both in attack and in defence in all transitions," he said.
Agyeman was particularly impressed with Abdul Rauf Sulemana's performance, praising his experience and versatility on the field.
"Let me first congratulate him (Abdul Rauf Sulemana) on his first game, first goal and first win. We know this boy is very good, he is from Right to Dream. He played for Nordsjaelland in Denmark, he has got a lot of experience and he can play everywhere in the midfield and he is very good on the ball," Agyemang explained.
Looking ahead to their next match, he emphasised the need for his team to stay focused and attentive during training.
"We have probably one of the toughest games against Kotoko in Kumasi. My players need to be attentive at training and actually bring forth what we teach at training," he said.
This victory marks the team's fourth win in the league, propelling them to 10th place in the standings.
Vision FC will face off against Kumasi Asante Kotoko in Kumasi on matchday 17 of the league.
