Ghana Premier League side, Accra Hearts of Oak have officially announced the signing of former Ghana international, Sulley Muntari.
Muntari has been training with the Accra-based side for the past weeks as he looked to regain his fitness ahead of a return to the Ghanaian top-flight.
After reports over the weekend the veteran midfielder was set to join, the club made his signing official on Tuesday, February 1, through a social media post.
The former Liberty Professional man is expected to play for Samuel Boadu's side in the second half of the 2021/22 campaign as they look to defend their league title.
After leaving Liberty in 2001, the midfielder played his football in Europe, representing Portsmouth, AC Milan and a host of other clubs, winning seven silverware in the process.
