Desmond Ofei says he has no difficulty combining his head coach role at the Black Satellites with his duty as the assistant coach of the Black Stars.
Ofei was appointed as one of the new technical changes for the senior national team following their failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Questions have been raised about the interruptions he could face as part of his decision to be on both teams.
However, Ofei says the two roles will not be conflicting as both teams don't play at the same time of the FIFA international window.
"Luckily, [Black Stars matches and U20 AFCON] don't clash at all because the tournament with the U20s doesn't fall within the FIFA window. Apart from that, we have a top technical team with the U20s, so it's quite positive," he told the GFA media.
"It is easy to combine [being assistant coach of Black Stars and head coach of Black Satellites].
"My role is quite simple. My role is to assist the head coach as best as I can. With me, it's about hard work and supporting him at any level, and any areas that we feel we need to improve on."
Ofei was considered for the role after his impressive work with the Black Satellites last year when he led them to African Games gold medal as well as securing a return to the continental stage at the youth level.
