Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the appointment of Julius Emunah as the club's new Managing Director.
Emunah replaces Delali Anku-Adiamah, whose contract was not renewed following its expiration last month.
A club statement on Tuesday said, "the Board of Directors has expressed its full confidence in Emunah’s ability to steer Hearts of Oak into a new era of professionalism, transparency and competitiveness, in line with international best practices."
"As Managing Director, Emunah will oversee the club’s administrative, commercial and sporting operations, working closely with the technical team, players, supporters, sponsors and other stakeholders to ensure sustainable growth and long-term success."
Until his appointment as Hearts MD, Emunah worked with at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for eight years, occupying various roles.
In 2020, he was appointed as the GFA's Club Licensing Manager, having previously served as a Safety and Security Officer for both CAF and GFA.
Four years into the role, Emunah was reassigned as Competitions Manager, a position he held up until he resigned to take up the Hearts of Oak opportunity.
Before working for the GFA, Emunah, a broadcast journalist by profession, served as the deputy Administrative Manager for the National Sports Authority in the Central Region for two years before relocating to the Western Region.
While in the Western Region, he would serve as the General Secretary for the Regional Football Association.

Emunah did his Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Cape Coast, and has a Master’s degree in Sports Management and Legal Skills from FC Barcelona at ISDE Law Business School in Spain.
