The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will sponsor 150 children to participate in the MGL/Safari Valley Eco initiative that aims to foster a deep connection to nature among students.
Sammy Gyamfi, the NDC National Communication Officer, announced the party's participation while on live radio Wednesday morning to shed more light on the party's insistence that the Electoral Commission must conduct a forensic audit of the still under compilation voters register to be used for the 2024 general elections.
This programme is a collaboration between the Multimedia Group Limited and Safari Valley Eco-Park,
In an interview on the Super Morning Show, Mr Gyamfi praised the initiative as a valuable effort to promoting environmental awareness and conservation.
The programme targets students from underprivileged schools and areas affected by illegal mining, offering hands-on experiences that build environmental stewardship.

Mr Gyamfi commended the initiative as a significant step in training the next generation to value and protect Ghana’s environment.
“As part of our commitment to combating illegal mining, and on behalf of John Mahama, we will sponsor 150 people to start with.
“We believe in supporting such private initiatives because they are crucial for our environmental goals. John Mahama is considering his next steps, and the NDC will support it,” he added.
