Nigel Gaisie vows to hunt anyone who attacks pastors

Prophet Nigel Gaisie has vowed to legally pursue and prosecute anyone who attempts an attack on any man of God.

His decision stems from his claims that he was ignored by several leading ministers in the gospel fraternity when he needed them.

According to him, none of the fathers of the land, as they are called, came to his aid and supported him when the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer aspirant, Kennedy Agyapong, accused him of killing some individuals.

Therefore, based on his experience, the prophet has vowed to attack anyone who spreads false rumours about a pastor during his era as a ‘father of the land.’

He made this affirmation in an interview with Roselyn Felli on Joy Prime’s morning show on Wednesday.

“I always tell my team that maybe God allowed what we went through because there’s nothing that has happened that, if God hasn’t allowed, will happen. For me, some years will come where nobody will dare do that to any man of God in this country.

"If I’m alive, which I’ll be, a time is coming when nobody will do what Kennedy Agyapong ever did to any church in this country. I’ll personally come after you. If you attack a man of God, I’ll call you on the phone and tell you that I’m coming after you. I’ll use the law to come after you,” he affirmed.

The leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel believes that the humiliations he went through were predestined by God to strengthen and equip him to be able to defend young and upcoming ministers of the gospel.

He feels the immediate seniors in Ghana’s Christiandom have failed to protect the young ones, thereby granting an avenue for people to pummel them without proof.

As to who these fathers of the land are, he said that there are several of them.

When asked to mention a few, he listed Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare, Prophet Bernard Opoku Nsiah, Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, and Rev. Joseph Eastwood Anaba.

These men of God, according to Nigel Gaisie, are from past generations and are more influential due to their experiences. This gives them an upper hand to protect the younger pastors, but they have failed.

The prophet expressed his disappointment with how he was neglected by these fathers of the land, saying, “Hurt is an underestimation. I’m bitter about it, and it’s not me; it’s the church".

Nigel Gaisie has encountered a lot of backlash from the majority of Ghanaians for his prophecies because they are deemed to be negative.

But the clergy said he is not to be blamed for that because they are revealed to him by God through dreams, and so he has no option but to announce them despite the consequences.
